A Food Blog with a 360° Perspective

SafeBite360 was founded with a simple mission: help people understand the journey their food takes, and why it matters.

Founded by Dennis Ben, a food scientist with a deep passion for food, safety, and public awareness, this blog aims to make food knowledge accessible, useful, and engaging for everyone. Dennis has worked across different areas in the food industry—from production and quality control to public education—and noticed one thing: most people don’t realize how much happens before food hits their plate.
That’s why this blog exists.

We talk about:

  • How food is grown, stored, processed, and transported.
  • The challenges and wins in manufacturing and supply chains.
  • The importance of hygiene, traceability, and standards (without being boring).
  • How everyday choices affect food safety and sustainability.
  • Real food science, simplified.

Letter from the Founder

Hey there,
I’m Dennis, a food scientist by training and a food lover by nature. I started SafeBite360 because I kept seeing a gap between what happens in the food industry and what most people actually know about it. So much goes on behind the scenes—from farms and factories to supermarkets and street vendors—and I believe that understanding food better helps us eat better and live better.
This blog is my way of sharing what I’ve learned (and continue to learn) in a down-to-earth, no-jargon kind of way. Whether you’re deep in the food industry or just curious about what ends up on your plate, I hope you find something here that clicks with you.
Thanks for stopping by. Let’s keep learning, questioning, and enjoying good food—safely.
— Dennis Ben
